Part of our mission here at the Seafood Cafe is to pass on our knowledge and skills. In order to break down myths and misconceptions around seafood. As an Island graced with the most plentiful stocks of amazing seafood, it is an anomaly that more people do not enjoy seafood enough at home.
Niall and our amazing team her The Cafe run masterclasses regularly on everything from Oysters, Crabs, Lobsters, Scallops to Fish Filleting, Barbecuing, Stocks & Soups.
They are given through a non pretentious and interactive manner. They are also mighty Craic.

Oyster Masterclasses happen on the regular at the cafe. We shuck more oysters here than anywhere else in town & we know our stuff.
Attendees will receive a welcome Bloody Mary to kick things off. We will then go through the rich and fascinating history of oysters in Ireland. An oyster flight will be served and we will go though the history and nuances of each.
We will teach you how to open an oyster like a pro and you will even get a shucking gift to take away with you.
